Here is an excerpt from the link below.. it sounds crazy
"Visa numbers can retrogress in the middle of a month and become unavailable without prior notice. If there is a mid-month retrogression, USCIS could elect to stop accepting adjustment applications. While this is unlikely to occur in July 2007, it becomes more and more possible as the fiscal year progresses. "
I hope this doesnt happen.

Is this just a reference to how dates are generally published in the middle of the month? Could Fragomen be simply saying that it is unlikely that the visa bulletin published in the middle of the month of July will have the dates retrogressed, but later mid-month bulletins (in Aug etc.) could bring news of retrogresssion?
Note that the first sentence of the paragraph from which "averagedesi" has quoted says that "Though the principal employment-based categories are current for July, future retrogression is possible ...." This seems to indicate that they will remain current throughout July, which is what we know/believe.

Mine was rejected on 9/19 "Missing or incorrect fee" haven't received the reject notice yet. Since 90 days have passed my attroney has decided to refile a RECONSTRUCTED APPLICATION on Monday (10/15).

Does emotional trauma and endless domestic disturbance of peace caused by years of waiting for the Priority dates to be current count?
Also who has to be the perpetrator of the severe violence? If an H1B beats up another H1B does that count? Or it only counts if a Citizen or GC holder beats u up? Now this is an important piece of information so that I know whom to ask to beat me up!!;)

Sorry..I have incorrectly named the thread..it suppose to read this way- "Changed Employer (but not informed USCIS), travelling on AP" .
A couple of points : 485 is your property. Its a grey area whether to inform USCIS or not, some advocate it as its a proof and file AC21 and some have different opinion its a personal choice. Regarding using AP I myself dont see an issue. Rest of all are supporting dox. Nice to have supporting documents.

I am curious of the average networth of H1Bs excluding their parent's money. The money they just made so far. Not sure how to start a new thread. I read somewhere online there are lot of H1Bs who are working for 10 years are almost millionaires. Can they use their accumulated wealth to do an investment based green card.
An individuals income and their net worth is their personal information. I don't think you will get more info on this (that too in a public forum).

I just came across the following article, which analyze in depth about the anti-immigration groups, their stratergies, bases and the clout they have. Though some of the names seems neutral, the intention is really not.

Mine was in CSC. Premium filed on 15th June 2007, got approval on 25th June. I have not received a receipt, but got approval :)

his GC is approved, before he leaves the country take an infopass appointment and get I551 stamp on his passport for him to be able to reenter the country. if he will be out of the country for more than 6 months he might need a reentry permit as well.

Lately, US Consular Officers in Canada have been reluctant to issue H-1B visas when the applicant does not have a US or Canadian University Degree AND has never had an H-1B visa issued at his/her home Consulate. The following is an excerpt from Visa Requirements � U.S. Consular Services in Canada (http://www.consular.canada.usembassy.gov/usa_visa.asp#ability:)
"Evidence of qualifications must be original or certified copy. Consular officers in Canada may refuse to issue a visa to H-1B applicants if their education and /or work experience is solely or predominantly from a country other than the U.S. or Canada."
As you probably know, if you are refused a visa in Canada, you cannot return to the US until you travel to your home country and obtain your H-1B visa there.

Your Lawyer for sure gets it. You will get a copy of it. (I think you will get only if it is medical or any personal).

unless you have the new cut-off dates for April - they don't want to look at your thread (waste of their precious minute after waiting for many many years ofcourse)
eliminating dependents count for GC is wishful thinking and many pundits talked this issue over and over and yes, it will greatly help elimate backlog but just blogging wont get us anywhere.. people are so anxiously waiting for the April VB that any thread that doesn't give them the new dates are venting their frustations in giving reds.. may be they are the ones who are closer to their finish lines and waiting for the final push to get them greeeen
anyway, with yours in EB3-I mid 2004 and mine in EB2-I just started after 10 yrs in USA, this should help us stay little optimistic. I gave you a green for sharing some hope (however looooong shot it may be). Thanks
