Dear friends,
Please be careful of corrupt attorneys and employers selling same labor to multiple candidates and making money by filing concurrent cases. I am happy that the substitution labor is dead which kills corruption by employers and attorneys. This is one of my bitter experiences with substitute labor.

WOW I'm sorry to hear this, I was on the same boat so I can understand. There's nothing you can do. Your employer or attorney can try to contact DOL. I filed May 07 as well, they audited and after replying nothing happened for a very long time. And then out of the blue they approved March of 08. My attorney said there's nothing we can do other than wait as they were auditing left and right, specially EB2. Eventhough my attorney send letters requesting updates they never responded.
I guess I was extremly lucky to finally get approved.

With the first question what it sounds like you want to do is open your image (you may have to copy and paste it into a new document, not sure)...
Select the layer with your image then go to Image/Adjustments/Hue Saturation (this is in Photoshop 7, it is still under the Image menu in 6, but Adjustments was named something else, which I forget now)
Then check the colorize checkbox and slide the sliders to the color you want.
As for your second question, yes it is possible. You can use the Lasso tool. If you have the toolbar pallette open, it is the tool right under that Rectangle Marquee tool. You can right click on the lasso tool to choose between 3 different types of lassos. The rounded one is to select an area freehand style, the jaggety one is to select an area by clicking points, and the one with the magnet allows you to better outline things.

485 receipt notice is required for new EAD or for renewal of existing EAD. Pl send them a copy of the I485 receipt notice document in addition to a copy of the existing EAD card

Yeah. Mention the company's name that filed GC for you/wife. I did the same for my wife. During the interview we both were asked about whether employer had filed for our GC and we said yes. We got the visa, no issues whatsoever.

This is exactly the problem. There are a lot of house straight head Republican's who won't give up their anti-immigration position. Because of their existence, anything on this issue that wants to pass need Democrats vote.

My case is similar too, my husband filed 485 for both of us on 29th June, we both have H1b. But on June 15th one H1b transfer was filed for me (dependent in 485) which was confirmed to us on June 22nd and I joined new company on June 26th.
But the whole transfer thing is not mentioned in 485 because we were not aware at time of filling forms (june 18th).
Is this going to create problem? do we need to send update/form to USCIS about this?
you dont need to do anything. they can track the changes based on I-94 sent for transfer.
In fact if you id COS to H4 then that too would have been okay.

If the foreign national has the required license, the adjudicator should not "look beyond the license." If the foreign national has a restricted license (e.g., license approved except for mandatory supervised practice), and the petition is otherwise approvable, an adjudicator should approve the petition for one year, or the duration of the restricted license, whichever is longer.
If the employee does not have the license because s/he needs certain immigration documents before getting a license, CIS can approved the petition for one year. The memo says that "The approval of any such H-1B petition shall not constitute approval by USCIS for the alien beneficiary to engage in any activity requiring possession of such State or local license. I just noticed on USCIS website that all 4 of our family's I-485 (myself, wife, 2 children) have new LUD of 4/1/2009.
The message still says "case received and pending" on all cases.
I wonder what it means?

hi attorneys,
i am working in the US on H-1B. i also hv an approved I-140 but not yet applied for I-485.
now i am planning to start my own business and apply for an investor visa under EB-5 category. can i do this?
if i apply under EB-5 does that automatically cancel my current GC applied by my employer?
while the EB-5 GC is in process can i continue to work in the US on H-1B? (i hv not finished my 6 yrs on H-1B)

I think the idea is that you can choose to make your designs in to actual shirts that you sell… but it's not required as part of the competition.
In the original t-shirt contest, people were required to put their designs on Cafepress so that people could actually buy the shirts (I have two of them). Kirupa took issue with that this time:
My main issue with t-shirt designs is that it requires having someone sign-up on cafepress to be able to add their design to a particular t-shirt.
So, this time, you aren't required to make your shirt purchasable. Hypothetically, you could put it up on Cafepress or another, similar site. I think it'd be cool if everyone did that, but I'm not running the show. :kommie:
