4. Consult an immigration lawyer ASAP
Today, My H1B transfer got denied and waiting for denial notice. Employer is planning to appeal on denial case. (I am assuming that "Denial could be becasue of client letter was not furnished)
My Layer: Employer->Company A-> Primary Vendor -> Client
My I-94 is valid Nov-09-2009 based on previous employer petition. Previous employer notified USCIS on H1B termination.
On this, What would be best option.
1. File a new H1B case thru current employer (while is waiting for appeal result, as a back up plan)?
2. can I continue work for current employer since my I-94 is valid till 11/09/2009 and filling MTR?
3. Apply for H1B transfer thru primary vendor's sister concern?

Thanks for the reply, I checked with the post office and they were unable to help, I have re-added my name to the mail box. but not sure whether its sent back. I will wait for couple of days more and call USCIS, Do i need to follow the same steps again, pay fees, file online??

By courtesy copy do you mean the original I-797C?
I am also in the same situation. I didn't get the copy and lawyer got copy today only. Appt date is this Sat.
Lawyer has emailed me the scanned copy. Can I take this copy for FP ?

Its a good consolidated report, It clearly says system is broken and need a fix. Almost all the legislation listed at the end talk about either recapturing lost visas or increase the numerical limit.

That is true. However, it is not difficult to figure out that Ruth is a supporter of legalization of the undocumented. That's why the only bills covered at the end of the report are all legalization bills. She seems to have "extensive" analysis on per-country limits on EB &FB, but doesn't have the ink to write 1 line about country limits on the undocumented. The report systematically and intentinally overlooks all other bills that are related to legal immigration only. Most of the time, its not what is written, but who wrote it and how the information is presented which matters.

My 485 (based on NIW) is pending. Based on the current bulletin, it could take years to approve my case. I currently work in the US using H1 visa. But I may need to travel outside the US for 1 year or even longer for business reason. Is there any way that I can not abadon my 485 pending status? Thanks!

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has launched its newly re-designed Web site (http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis). Although the Web site update was scheduled to be introduced September 22, 2009, attorney Eugenia Ponce visited the site Monday and has this report:
The updated Web site is organized according to categories.The categories are displayed as Topics, Forms, Resources, Laws, News, and About Us. The topics are categorized as follows: Adoption, Permanent Residence, Humanitarian, Citizenship, Members of the Military and Their Family, Family, Visit the U.S., Working in the U.S, and Genealogy. After clicking on a specific topic, I was provided helpful information and even more additional information was available through the links on the left of the screen.The advantage of categorizing the information by topic is that individuals are now able to familiarize themselves with the process from start to finish. There are other helpful links and tools within each specific topic.
Another key feature to the Web site is that there is a “where to start” link. Before, individuals could navigate throughout the Web site not knowing where to even begin their search on a narrow issue. Now, the “where to start link” will allow individuals to begin their immigration search by narrowing it down to their specific issue. Its been over a month now and have not got any response.
Should i apply for 1-140 before my 6th yearh h visa ends.
I have already applied for 7th year extension but i still have few days left for 6th year h visa.
Can you tell me how did you approach to fix the PD i.e should i approach only via my lawyer or directly and by which means like email, phone, letter etc and which department.

Her petetion is filed in May. And she travelled out of USA last month. So you need to do is to start working and get a visa stamp of H1 when you go out of the country.

Are you working for your new employer now? (I assume not).
Is you new employer a consultancy, i.e, your final work assignment will be for another client... if so, then you should expect a RFE (not gauranteed, but most likely) regarding client details and contracts... assuming you fall under this category, I would suggest you to apply for premium processing if you are able to respond to such an RFE...
But otherwise, I wouldn't recommend using premium processing, since you are almost 6 months away from expiry....

Under Premium Processing you would certainly get a response which can be a Denial or an Approval within 2 weeks.if you are lucky enough you might get a response within 4-5 business days.

oi antonio, tudo bem? brasil vs. croatia hoje... muito facil para os brasileiros :)
a couple of comments. i agree with el hacko and jliechty that the front strawberry should be the one in focus. the ones that are in focus are not special and you can't see the entire berry so there is no compelling reason to focus on them. at least the one in the front is whole and big.
you might also want to 'soften' the light and eliminate the hot spots (overexposed) that are on the fruit. there should be more pretty color where you see white. you can use bounce flash or a diffuser to accomplish this and still get the bright look.
adding more attractive texture to the strawberries might be accomplished with some water droplets, especially on the leaves which look kind of dry.
food photography is one of the hardest disciplines but you're doing a great job.
