Someone leave one available in Dallas for Saturday... Want to surprise my wife with one for her birthday but won't be able to make a covert shopping trip until Saturday... ;)

Everytime I see this thread I read Apple's working on an RDF iPhone and I think to myself and that's new? ;)

So did any of you in the US get your 3DS and what are your feelings about it ? Do you share similar thoughts as I have expressed ? :)

And they're taught how to spell, too.
Unless & until you've been there (and it's obvious you haven't), you may want to temper that opinionthe right to publicly express same courtesy of the poor folks serving you are so condescendingly pitiful ofwith some factual knowledge. But that's the beauty of lifelong civilianhood, no need to live in the real world when there's some that do that for you.
Carry on, shipwreck. ;)
Yeah because in the real world if I went into another country and carpet bombed a village I wouldn't be sent to jail. And the "until you've been there" argument is BS too. Do I need to first be a paedophile before denouncing paedophilia?
You really think that the civilians of Apple should involve themselves with an already extremely efficient killing machine? A homophobic, misogynistic one at that?
Loving the "latte" cliches, was wondering how long it would take for someone to come up with that.

Multifl0w is one of my favorite, if not my no.1 jailbreak app.
Here's hoping that the next iOS has Expose built in.

M11x ;) Still love my R2.
Air is better in many other ways though.
yeah, my best friend actually has an M11x R2. I love it, but still, at how compact the 11" Air is, I'm surprised it can max out Portal 2 easily.

Hello,
Something odd happened to me yesterday and I'd like to ask for your opinion. I had been postponing the latest update of OSX for a few weeks and decided to finally install this update yesterday.
After installing this update, my iMac became terribly slow up to the point that it is basically unusable. Booting up takes ages and when logged in I see the spinning beach ball more than I'd like. I couldn't figure out what the problem was and decided to simply do a clean install as I did not have the time to figure this out.
After a clean install, I downloaded all the updates and the iMac seemed to run smooth again, but this morning I noticed that the iMac is again extremely slow.
Has anyone of you experienced this problem before?
Some additional information:
- iMac 20" 2.4GHz 4GB RAM 320 HDD
- tried resetting PRAM
- HDD only has one partition (so no Bootcamp)
UPDATE:
I have run an Apple Hardware Test and I am getting an HDD error. The odd thing is that when I now boot from the install DVD and launch Disk Utility, my HD is not even showing up. It only shows up as a drive labeled "Media".

Amazon is known to post a lot of wrong things in the past, (iWork '11 anyone?) but this seems pretty legit. I burned my install to a DVD to use it, and it worked just fine. I'd assume that this is the last upgrade on a DVD though. OTA upgrades FTW.

Good point.
Both of which are essential.
Btw Other proposals/suggestions are also welcome, however many or few posts you have :).
Thank You.
I'm not convinced yours will do this to be honest. Your categories don't seem totally clear to me.
I don't think they can be much clearer. Hardware refers to well, Hardware, Software to um... Software. Hmm, maybe I'm looking at it from the wrong perspective though, why don't you think it's clear?

Are you suggesting it is harder to abort than to raise a child?
Oh no, you cant get away with logic like that here, especially as you are male.
Men should just butt-out of this discussion altogether, IMNSHO.

well mine does too without a case....
and mine, even after having the phone replaced. It's not FUD, lol, it's fact. Not everyone will see it, but denying it happens because you don't see it is pretty close-minded of you.

it doesn't really make business sense for them to wait longer to do the iPhone 5, so many customers expect it around June and they save up and sell their old phone, also 12 month iPhone4 contracts and 24month 3Gs contracts expire in June!
Apple knows what it's doing, no other company has ever had people so eager to give them their money for something they know nothing about yet.
if there's no new iPhone, all these potential expectant customers might just buy an android.

This is appalling. I cannot believe this government intrusion is even legal.
So...where does parenting come into the picture here?! That is the problem with this and many, many other problems in society.
Edit: Posted my response without even reading other comments. Glad to see I'm not alone on this one.
Wait. You live in The People's Republic of Massachusetts and you are astounded by this level of government nanny-ism?

So the fact that AT&T can currently know everything about you from miles away is ok, but if they add a chip that works for 30 or 40 feet...that's a problem?
From 1 party to anyone and everyone, your neighbor, elevator, cash register. Anyone with ability to scan rfid know you. That is like shouting out who, what you are all the time 24/7. That is just information pollution.

edit: The Norwegian goverment today declared Facebook's new "Places"-integration might be illegal, and will discuss this matter with contacts in the EU.
They probably can't stop it, but I'm glad they're raising awereness of the privacy issues. I just don't see why there isn't at least a button you have to click to activate this. There's plenty of people who login to their FB accounts very rarely, including myself. I'm just glad I was informed about this by the media and in forums, so I can go and disable this feature ASAP.

Got my copy of Leopard and t-shirt! Start queuing about half four, maybe a little after.
I didn't expect that amount of people I mean, I figured there'd be a lot of people, but :D. Also, congrats to the Apple store security people for blocking off the fools who started their own alternate queue from the opposite side of the store entrance. The organisation was crappy though. I don't know how many t-shirts there really were, but if anyone from Apple is reading this, next time someone should probably walk down the queue while it's not frantic and hand out numbered tickets for people to show as they go in.
I can't wait to get home and install it though! The front is so shiny :O

1. Real men ride Harleys.
And Mac users consider themselves as computer savy, LOL! They prefer a simple OS that a monkey could use. Now that's savy.
If a person is looking for the best overall experience, even if they lack technical skills, if not luck, it could be a very savvy decision. :)
*sigh* Okay I give up.
I don't think you are fearful and defensive. :)
